Hi everyone! I'm starting a post for those who are applying to University at Buffalo's accelerated nursing program with a summer 2019 start! Also, let me know if you have any questions about where you can take your prerequisites.

I haven't heard anything either, and I submitted everything well before the Oct. 15th priority deadline. I submitted an inquiry and they responded that they are still reviewing applications.

I'm waiting on Drexel and Columbia (but it's so expensive--I'm not sure I can afford it). I'm going to request permission to join the FB group :)

I actually took it as a summer course, but I'm going to retake it because I didn't get the grade I wanted. The class I took was an expedited 4-week course, and I recommend taking it as a full semester course if you're also working full time like I was. With the certificate of residence it's $561 (but they add on a $20 wellness fee, $77 technology fee, $70 online course fee, and $70 activity fee so it comes out to be around $798)--but it's still a little cheaper than ECC. The professor requires an SGA (this 100 page booklet) to be completed. It takes forever to complete. There is only one exam in the entire class worth 50% of your grade, but the SGA prepares you for it. The professor's fair, but the class requires a lot of work that isn't done online (due to the SGA). The SGA has to be printed (this can be done in Staples for about $20). Is that the only class you have left?

I almost applied there! And yeah, being an alumni should definitely count for something. Right? I thought it was weird too. But I guess we'll know for sure by mid-December. Less than 2 months away now!

Yeah! I applied to Drexel too. If I don't get into either of their programs, then I'll wait another year to polish my applications. Where else have you applied? Also, I received an acceptance to SUNY Buffalo (the school), but not the program yet. Has that happened to you?

No, at Cayuga CC (online). I'm starting Pharmacology in 2 days (wish me luck!) Which ones are you taking now?

I am too! I'm currently taking some of the prerequisites, but should have them all finished by December.
