  1. Thanks sp123! I wrote to ask them about it because there's no information on the website or in the pre-recorded information sessions stating there is an expiration on the prerequisites. Hoping they get back to me soon, so I can register for classes if needed!
  2. Hi everyone, I'm interested in applying for next year and was just curious, was there a recency requirement for your prerequisites? My classes were all done around 2009, and I am curious if I will need to retake them.
  3. I️ got in too, and I️ still can't believe it!! NJCU was my top choice and I️ got rejected by almost all the other schools I️ applied to, so this feels like a miracle! I️ had a terrible undergrad GPA (almost 15 years ago í ½í¸³) but did pretty well on all my pre-reqs and got a 95% on the HESI. Good luck to you if you're trying again, your perfect. program admission will come through!!
  4. Did that email come from NursingCAS or someone at Phillips directly?
  5. Got my acceptance, too. Came in a regular small white envelope! Good luck to everyone else waiting!
  6. I think so too, the info session I went to was March 22, and she said they had just started then. She also said they will try to be done with decisions by end of April because they plan for orientations in May or June. So I imagine the deposit deadline has to be earlier than that.
  7. Yup, got the same email. Maybe their ears were burning! Guess we're still on track to hear back only by by the end of April.
  8. Haven't heard anything yet! When I spoke to Dr. J at the info session in a March, she said to expect JC admissions decisions at the end of April. Then we got that notice that they were delayed, so figure we still have 2+ weeks to wait, sadly.
  9. 500-700 is what I️ heard at the recent info session. They said a lot of people kind of disqualify themselves if they apply first and then take the HESI and score less than 80%. I️ mean 500 or 1500, it all makes me nervous!
  10. I️ did! The campus is small, but the buildings seem fairly new. We didn't get a tour but I walked around a little on my own. They said you will need a car to get to clinicals, and parking seems a little tough, but they have a few student lots. The staff/faculty seemed great, very collegial with each other. The program seems doable, they really emphasize that it's nearly impossible to have a job. They said the first semester will be five days of classes, second and third semester will be 4 days of classes and most likely a Saturday or Sunday clinical. They mentioned you could be going down as far south as the Jersey shore for clinicals, even though they try to keep the Jersey City ones up north.
  11. I️ went to the ABSN admissions event tonight to check out the campus and spoke with Dr. J. She said they just finished up with Wall, and have barely started on Jersey City so expect an answer more towards the end of April! But she said they will definitely all be out by then, because they want to have orientation in May or June.
  12. oh whew, thank you! I️ was wondering what was going on!!
  13. Has anyone who applied to Jersey City heard back yet? Did Wall have the same 2/28 application deadline or was I️ just imagining that it was earlier? I'm so nervous, I️ forgot to include one class on NursingCAS and they undelivered my application to NJCU. I'm hoping it's not a huge problem, since I submitted it before the due date but it took more than 3 weeks for them to let me know, and I just resubmitted it over the weekend. Curious about what's happening with the Jersey City applications now.
  14. Yep, Suffolk county resident. Good luck Ammerman folks!
  15. Came with the regular mail for me
