Hey Everyone,
I noticed there wasn't a thread for this group yet so of course the most simple solution was to make one! Hopefully everyone can share their thoughts, questions and updates here.
Just submitted my application and essay. Now I'm just waiting on completion with transcript processing. Trying to stay calm and ready myself for the wait.
Good Luck Everyone :)
Are they asking for a "Nursing Dean/Program Director Recommendation" form be filled out? Because that it was happened to me today -- I received an email stating that more information was needed to proceed with the review of my application, and that my application would be put on hold until the additional form was received. I am a nursing major at the community college where I am taking prereqs although I have never taken any actual nursing courses. But I have also applied to their associate of nursing program (trying to cover all my bases), and in order to do so my major must be listed as nursing. Hoping this doesn't hurt my chances either :\ I feel a little more confident knowing I wasn't immediately written off though based on my transcripts. We will see! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! Must be such a relief!!
My application was complete September 21st so it's been almost two months and I still have yet to hear back from them! All it says is "my application is complete and under review." Has anyone else been waiting For their decision as long as I have? I'm worried that this means I'm not going to be accepted
I got an email saying my application was complete on Oct 17th (after they got my transcript) and I got an email today saying that I was accepted. I think that was pretty quick! I think it's interesting that Drexel doesn't do interviews or require a letter of recommendation, I was a little bit thrown off at how simple the application process was. I also have an interview at Jefferson in two weeks and have no idea what I'm going to do if i get into both of them! any suggestions?
My interview is on the 8th,and I agree, I'm seeing a lot of bad things too. I know it's going to be a super tough year of work regardless of where I go, but I don't want to be part of the huge percentile who fails out of the program! I know a couple of people who went to Jefferson who said it was a hard year, but totally worth it, and she's already working as a nurse at CHOP!
