Hey Everyone,
I noticed there wasn't a thread for this group yet so of course the most simple solution was to make one! Hopefully everyone can share their thoughts, questions and updates here.
Just submitted my application and essay. Now I'm just waiting on completion with transcript processing. Trying to stay calm and ready myself for the wait.
Good Luck Everyone :)
Hi everyone!
Congrats to everyone that got in already! I just missed the fall 2016 deadline, so I ended up having to apply for spring 2017. However, I called today and was told that the fall 2016 class still isn't filled so they are still accepting applications and that I could change my application. So I'm waiting to hear back as well!
I've heard varying things about Drexel's ACE program. What have you all heard about it? I know there's plenty of boards that discuss this, but figured I'd get some fresh info!
I just spoke with someone who is currently in the ACE program. Apparently it didn't start until 9/21 for Fall 2015 (so expect a similar start date for Fall 2016.) I asked what a normal week looked like and this was his response:
"Normal week is class 9-5pm, with hour breaks in between classes, 4 days a week and one day of a clinical for roughly 7 hours. This is q1. I'm starting q2 January and its classes are 8-6pm Monday and Tuesday w 3 days of clinicals."
pretty intense! He was really helpful though and said the workload is definitely doable. The material isn't super challenging (coming from a science background) but there is a lot of work. Also clinicals will be anywhere in the tri-state area. There are Saturday clinicals, but if you get one of them, you'll have Fridays off.
Hope some of this info was useful!

Hey Guys, I went ahead and created a Facebook group for people who are accepted and planning to attend ACE in 2016.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/445423422324607/
I'm planning to join the 24 month cohort, and I originally made the group specifically for others in the same group. On second thought, I realized there will probably be a lot of crossover in terms of logistics, planning, etc, so I thought I'd post it here too.
Feel free to join if you're interested!
