Drexel ACE Fall 2016

Hey Everyone,

I noticed there wasn't a thread for this group yet so of course the most simple solution was to make one! Hopefully everyone can share their thoughts, questions and updates here.

Just submitted my application and essay. Now I'm just waiting on completion with transcript processing. Trying to stay calm and ready myself for the wait.

I also applied for the 11-month ACE at Drexel starting next Fall. I submitted my application on September 1st. My portal states that everything has been received and is currently under review. Good luck to everyone in the process!

Based off of last years forum, people actually started finding out this week... we'll see though!

If I remember correctly, the first person from that forum heard back on Oct 21 (tomorrow for us), and she applied in early September.

When I log into the portal, it says that my application has been "submitted." Supposedly, we should hear back within 8 weeks... That 8-week mark is quickly approaching for me! I'm starting to get anxious, and am checking the portal religiously, haha.

Mine says it's under review.

I submitted 9/1, but my additional material wasn't all in until 10/15 but it was only one course from one college. So we shall see!

Hey! I applied and had my materials submitted by the 9th of October. I am super stressed and can't wait to hear back. What were everyones stats? I don't have any paid healthcare experience so I hope that doesn't hurt me.

PreReq GPA: 3.9

Overall GPA: 3.8

Hi everyone! I applied for the fall 2016 ACE program as well! Anxiously awaiting an admissions decision - my application was complete 9/18. Did everyone have their prereqs completed before they applied? I am currently taking micro online and have to take a different chemistry in the spring since it looks like they don't accept the one I already have, but everything else is done. Makes me nervous since I don't know how it will affect my admissions decision.

Hi there TMS23!

I have all my prereqs complete. I am not sure how much they weigh this though. From what I have seen in past years, sometimes they might wait to make a decision until they receive your fall grades! Do you know when they are posting decisions?

I still need to take Developmental Psych and I'm taking physiology right now. I don't know when admissions will be posted but last year, people were already getting admissions this week.

Really you think they will be posted that soon JSBU? I didn't submit mine till October, so I do not want to get my hopes up! Anyone know the average GPA of the admitted student?
