Hey Everyone,

I noticed there wasn't a thread for this group yet so of course the most simple solution was to make one! Hopefully everyone can share their thoughts, questions and updates here.

Just submitted my application and essay. Now I'm just waiting on completion with transcript processing. Trying to stay calm and ready myself for the wait.

is mpainter the only person that has heard back? What were your stats if you wouldn't mind sharing? My application was complete on the 9th, so I am hoping I will hear back any day now!

Hi everyone, I'm applying for the 2 year program for Fall 2016.

I'm creating my application now, but I'm not sure whether to select 2015-2016 or 2016-2017...

I'm assuming 2016-2017, but who ever knows with these things?

What did you guys apply under?

Apparently they just began all reviewing and will be sending out decisions approximately 6-8 weeks from now :) yay!

Hi all ,

I applied mid September. Just emailed last week because I thought responses came sooner. I also got the standard 6-8 week timeline from now ... Thought it was sooner like last year's group, but who knows.

Went to Temple, BA in Psychology. All my pre-req's are complete. Pre-Req GPA around 3.5, undergrad gpa 3.2.

Is anyone going to the info session?

My application was finished on September 1st and is listed as Under Review. I couldn't remember from the Info Session last Spring how long it will take to get a decision back. Good to know that people were given more of a timeline. Hopefully 6-8 weeks goes by soon, I am anxious to get a decision! I have all but one prereq finished.

Hello everyone! I hope applications are going well. Although I do have a few questions! Does anyone know how many students they accept per cohort? I recently submitted my application, SO I'm way behind... I have finished all of my prerequisites, and sent out personal statements as well as letter or recs. My GPA isn't too good. Probably a flat 3.0, with 3.2 the last 60 credits.

Hey Guys,

Glad to come across this thread. I learned today that I've been accepted to the 24 month ACE cohort (which was my first choice of the two). For those who are urgently awaiting news: I submitted all of my materials in September, though I added a couple voluntary odds and ends right before the deadline on October 15.

I actually had the chance to meet with a very helpful admissions councilor in late September, and she indicated that the eight-to-twelve week review period began right on October 15. So don't fret if you haven't heard yet! You are well within the window.

It hasn't sunk in yet that "it" (going to nursing school) is finally happening. I decided to pursue this career way back in 2011 and have spent many nights and weekends in school, taking not just pre-reqs, but even pre-reqs to the pre-reqs. I'm sure many of you can relate.

Anyway, ACE was my first choice program, so most likely I'll be seeing some of you come September. In the meantime, best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

Hey all,

I just heard back today from . I applied for the Fall 11-Month Day Program, and my application was withdrawn. I received a notification when I logged onto the portal. The reason why my application was withdrawn was because I "have not completed enough prerequisite coursework for a decision to be processed." I was actually sort of pleasantly surprised that they gave me a reason!

To put things into perspective, I'll be graduating from Penn State in May with a degree in biology, and a minor in psychology. I completed my stat and chem prerequisites, but they specifically mentioned in the notification that they wanted A&P I AND II completed, as well as one other science prerequisite. I'm working on a physiology course, physiology lab, microbio course, and microbio lab this semester, and I sent them a document of my plan on when I'll be completing the other prerequisites.

I hope this doesn't dishearten any of you, and I wish you all the best of luck. I look forward to reading about all of your acceptances in the near future on this thread :)
