Has anyone heard back from Drexel for the fall 2010 class? My husband attended the info session for me a few weeks ago (he works in Philly and I had to work late), and he loved the school. On their website it says you have to have 7 pre-reqs completed prior to applying, but then it says they will not review transcripts until after you are accepted. Does anyone have any info on this?
I applied with only 1 class to finish this spring, other than that all my pre-reqs had been covered.
I couldn't tell you exactly what they really look for with regard to gpa, all I know is I have a 3.2 in Biological Sciences. I would say to stay competitive you just have to be above a 3.0
Sounds like we're in the same boat, TinyDancer! I'll be applying for Fall 2010, too. I hope it's not too late and we both get in
As far as pre-req classes, I haven't taken an ethics course. Where did everybody take it? Any online courses at a "reasonable" cost? I'm in NY so any in the area would work, too.
TIA!
HelloI am currently taking a biomedical ethics course at my local community college. Relatively affordable and actually kind of interesting so far. Best of Luck.
Thanks for the quick response, RLap. Are you in the NYC or NJ region? If so, do you mind sharing what school offers the bioethics course? Gratzi!
I took ethics during my undergrad days, but I have heard great things about Ocean CC online programs in NJ. Are all of your transcripts in yet?
Hello..no problem, all snowed in here so little to do but stare at the computer. I am actually in NJ so it wont help you much, but I think it is a very common course which most county schools offer. I still have about 3/4 more classes to take depending on if they accept my very convincing arguments. Right now I am taking 3 also. Long road but taking it day by day. Next step is getting the funds. Take care, off to shovel the driveway again.
Hello Guys,
I am in desperate need of any advise to my situation. So, I took A&P1 AND 2 and microbiology about 5years ago during my previous degree and I have to retake it inorder to be meet the requirement for the ACE program. I am planning on taking A&P1 and microbiology at a community college in my area. I can also take the A&P2 at a different community college. So in essense, I will be done with these sciences before the ACE program starts. My question is, Will admission still look at my application and even consider me? Am just really frustrated and stressed at this moment. I really want to start the program this fall. Any advise on what to do?
Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if they're still accepting applications for fall 2010?
