4 dreadful days to THE DAY, NCLEX

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello! This is my first post, so bear with me.

My NCLEX is in 4 days. This is my fourth attempt, unfortunately.

Study wise I have done Kaplan Review which gave me a 95% chance of passing (this was mandatory in the state of IN to retest a fourth time), ReMar Quick Facts book, skimmed the Exam Prep book and did all of the questions on the provided CD (664 questions total, averaging a 60%) AND I've read the 30 something page study guide provided by a user on this site. All I want to do is CRY. I feel like I've gained so much knowledge these past couple months, but I just don't know if its enough. The last thing I want to do is reschedule, because I did that the other 3 times I tested and it was a just a way for me to avoid the test. I want to just get it done! And PASS.

I know there are other posts similar to mine on here, and I've been through those, but if I fail again, I have to go in front of the board. I have HORRIBLE anxiety (like, panic attack every time I take the NCLEX) and I really don't think I could go in front of the board. It's not an option, I have to pass. Any recommendations? Is there anything else I can do before Monday? Should I stop racking my brain by studying hours and hours a day? Help. Please. And thank you, of course.

Since your thread is NCLEX-specific, it has been moved to the NCLEX Discussion forum. Good luck to you, and we hope you pass this test with this attempt.

Relax take your time as long as you know you did the best you can do that's all that really matters in the end....I hope you pass good luck.

Hello. I hope You doing ok. I hope thing went well for you. Please tell us about your NCLEX experience.

So, I did 254 questions in exactly 4 hours! I did PVT trick and getting good pop up. I don't want to get too excited until I get official results, but I think I got it this time!

My advice is just try to relax and when you come in that testing center just have your mind set that you are going to do your best, read the questions carefully, eliminate the obviously wrong choices and just have faith in yourself! and ofcourse, divine intervention, PRAY!

I just passed the NCLEX this January 2016 on my second try but I've been out of school for so long. I graduated in 2009 that's why reviewing and studying for the NCLEX has been hard for me too! I used Saunders book, NCSBN and UWORLD Qbank.

Good luck and God Bless you, I'm sure you'll do great in your upcoming test!
