Douglas College Fall 2017 Nursing applicants

Hi everyone, I wanted to start this thread for all the eager Nursing applicants just like myself! :) I have completed my 10 courses in Fall 2015, and have applied once for Winter 2017 but did not get accepted. Now, this will be my second time applying and I cannot wait to apply for the Fall 2017 intake! Anyone else interested in Douglas Nursing program Fall 2017 intake? :)

2.89 :( ... I thought it was decent, but English 1130 and stats brought me down from 3.0 how about you??

Hi! mine is only 3.04 I believe. I isn't that high. I'm just really hope, we'll still have chance. :(

They won't be sending out more acceptance letters until after the payment deadline passes for the ones that were sent out last week. I believe they have until Thursday this week to accept the offer. So there is still some hope for those of us waiting to get accepted!

Hi dillybar! Did you talk to the admission officer or Registrar's about this? I asked them, they said applications are being reviewed still. May I know what'gpa? í ½í¸¬ Thank you!

Hey Leslie_dhy! I did speak to admissions about this. I was told that they are sending applications out in increments so not all of them have been sent, but they have their list of who they are sending them out to. I believe my GPA is 3.1 or smtn like that..I don't have my exact GPA and I didn't ask when I called. They couldn't tell me whether or not I will be receiving a seat but they told me to be patient for a little while longer. Apparently we should know by late December/early Jan if we will have a seat or not. If not they will advise if we are on the wait list. I am hoping to get in for September... so fingers crossed for all of us still waiting!

Hi everyone! I am new to this post, but have been reading all the comments. I was just wondering how high the gpa should be.. because mine isnt that high and im thinking to retake some of the courses to upgrade my grades. I have finished the pre reqs for fall 2015. Thanks

Hi guys!

I finished my prerequisites in Fall 2015 and actually got an acceptance email this morning! I was feeling pretty discouraged about this intake like some of you, but there's still hope. :) Good luck to everyone!

For those of you asking for GPAs, I applied with around a 3.0.
