*************

Is 1st semester really the hardest? I've heard it is the easiest???

Specializes in ICU, Emergency Department.

It totally depends on where you go. My first semester was easier than my second, which I have heard is the worst (Med-Surg/Patho). I've heard in my program, once you make it through your second semester, you're over the hill and the downslope to graduation begins.

Specializes in General adult inpatient psychiatry.

I'm so psyched to start senior year on September 2nd! May doesn't seem so far away anymore!

Specializes in oncology, hospice.

I, too, graduate in May 2009 (God and everyone else willing). It has been such a long, hard trip and I'm still a little worried but I feel confident it will be okay. Congrats to all of us for making it this far!

Specializes in MSICU.

Ohhhh yeah, I can't wait until March!!! RN here I come!:yeah:

I see nobody has posted here since Aug..but I like what I was reading and I got excited about my upcoming graduation May 2009 its been a long road but 4 months to go..yeah!!!

I just finished my 4 out of 5 semesters and will be graduating May 16, 2009 at 10:00AM. That is our pinning ceremony, then we have the actual graduation for the BSN at 12PM the same day.

I'm so glad this journey is coming to an end. It's been a long hard road, but well worth it.

I start my final semester on January 22, 2009. I have 2 classes, Leadership and Community Health. We are offically done with classes in March 2009. The last 6 weeks of the semester is Capstone. Whoo hoo!

Also, our application for NCLEX needs to be turned in by January 23, 2009, so I'm spending Xmas break getting that together. I'm also doing 100 NCLEX questions a day. I want to test as soon as possible after graduation.

I am back to say 6 MONTHS TO GO... Graduation here I come about to start NCLEX questions:w00t:

I CAN'T WAIT!!! Good luck everyone :D

Specializes in TCU.

Hi all!

I'm going to add my :twocents:. I just completed my 1st semester of RN program....one down, three to go! The first semester was tough (my clinical instructor was an older, by the book nurse...she scared EVERYONE). I'm thrilled it's over, and look forward to next semester...everyone says first semester is the hardest, plus next semester we get to do clinicals in a hospital (I go to Regions...one of two level one trauma hospitals in my area:up:)!

I'm going to come back here next winter to celebrate my impending graduation May 2010! Does seem like a long way!

CHEERS & Congrats to all 2009 grads!

I also graduate in May 2009!!!! For our program which is changing, my class is the last to go thru it the way it is set up now...I would have to say that our first semester was the easiest, but we were in clinicals during it as well which is a bit different then some other programs. The 2nd and 4th semesters were med surg, and they were really rough, but I MADE IT THROUGH..........our 3rd semester was actually during the summer and it was our psych rotation, which I loved.....Now our last semester is peds and maternity....as I said our class is the last to do it this way, and I know why.........good luck, and congrats to all the future grads....
