Yeah, really! What good nurse doesn't wear high heels to work. I find that my heels are really useful in helping me reach the mayo stand in the OR.
Although they would penetrate quite deep into the posterior of all the fools you run into in the course of the day that get on your last nerve...
Sigh. Just fantasizing. See? I'm SMILING!
*sniff*pout*sniff* You mean I WON'T be able to wear my stilettos to work when I graduate? That is SO totally unfair! *pout* Seriously though, I've never been terribly interested in shoes or handbags and I probably would not have noticed the ad. lol It's just further proof that it doesn't matter what the profession is, or what height/weight/gender/age/skin tone/ethnicity/etc. a person is, someone is bound to develop a stereotype about them.

Am I the only one who finds these ads to be harmless? They just don't bother me in the least. It's just like the notion of a "naughty teacher." Just because it's been a funny ad-campaign or a running joke, doesn't mean that the majority of the American people believe that nurses are really running around trying to seduce our patients or doctors, nor do most Americans believe that the majority of American teachers are off seducing students....For me, this one just falls under the "bigger fish to fry," category.
