Hello everybody!
I recently applied to Dominican College WABSN 2020 and would like to meet current applicants, current or former students. The weekend program is very convenient for working adults, that is the main reason why I chose it. However, there are no reviews about this program, I would like to read about others experience and thoughts about the school/nursing program in general.
Everybody is welcome to this post, let's share our experience through this process.
Thanks!
Hi!
I’m looking to apply for the day program for next year and currently doing my pre-reqs. The community college near me doesn’t offer biochemistry only biochemistry of addiction which doesn’t fulfill the requirements. Does anyone know where I can do the biochemistry either online or in person?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, University of New England online. That's where Dominican recommended and I thought the class was pretty doable

Hi!
I took my class at Doane. It was completely online thought their Open Learning Platform. It was definitely manageable with some time management.

Good luck!

Thanks so much for this! How did it work when you did it online? Is it like other online classes where it’s usually you do everything yourself and just have assignments do by certain dates and times?

Thanks for the link! How does their open learning platform work? Is like any other online class? Also, if you don't mind sharing, do you remember how much it cost to take this class?
Sorry for all the questions! Thanks!

Hi yes it was completely online, with no due dates except that everything needed to be in by the last day of class. That made time management hard for me bc I would prefer deadlines. Tuition was around $1,500, and they offer 2 start times a month. The textbook was included but the lectures are enough to ace the exams. Professor was involved and helpful.
