Does anyone take supplements to stay healthy?

Published

I am worried about getting run down while I am in school and would like to now what, if any, supplements you take to stay healthy? I really don't want to miss any school and with all the nasty bugs going around I thought maybe someone might have some suggestions.

Flinstones Children Vitamin daily po

( I cant swallow pills thats why )

you know they make adult gummy viatmins? and they are delicious. haha

also, i TRY to take an iron supplement and a B-complex once daily, but im pretty forgetful. when i remember to do it my energy level is muchhhh higher though.

Per day:

10 frozen tart cherries (many health benefits)

1 tablespoon of Elderberry juice (anti-viral)

1 apple

They work best as preventatives rather than treatments and along with the basically good diet.

I have refrained from buying those as I would knock a bottle out in one sitting. My candy weakness is gummies so thats a no go for me

adult gummy vitamins are the way to go ! They are delicious. Try not to die of lipid-soluble vitamin toxicity :)

During the winter I try hard to avoid public transportation ... it is a cesspool of disease if you ask me. Can't always be avoided so I stick with my delicious gummy vitamins for back-up.

Also pretty vigilant about fiber (fiber !! ) and I eat yogurt every morning for some probiotic goodness.

Prenatal Vitamin (Have been taking it since I was about 20 just in case I ever have an "oooops" baby)

1000mg Vitamin C (I am trying to avoid getting sick too, so even though I pee almost all of this out I still take it)

I think I might start Omega-3 but Krill Oil instead, they say it is better then fish oil and has no aftertaste.
