I think it would be cool to have a "day in the life of a nursing student" blog, or something like that. I'd love to read about what a nursing student goes through on a daily basis, to help prepare me for what my days will be like. I'd love to read more about what a typical clinical day is like for the nursing students, or what they do in skills lab, etc.

This is the "nursingdiary.com", unfortunately, there are only 2 people there blogging--neither of which is from a nursing student. One is from someone trying to get into nursing school, the other from a currently working nurse.
I'm sure they'd love to get some more nursing students as bloggers!
studentdoctor also has a number of diaries for other kinds of health professionals: medschooldiary.com, vetschooldiary.com, premeddiary.com, residentdiary.com, DDSDiary.com...I'm not sure whether they actually have all those domain names now...the above URL seems to be a portal to all the different kinds of diaries.
NurseFirst
I'm not in nursing school yet, but have a website which is about getting ready for nursing school. It will continue throughout my nursing school, and maybe even after that! :)
Any suggestions on what to add that's not already there, just let me know! :)
(It's spring break right now. LOL)
I did look in the TOS (link at the very bottom of every page. danu), and it mentioned no self-promotion in the advertising section. I think blogs would be kind of a grey area there.
However, the OP did ask for nursing blogs, not just websites, so my (un-mod-ly) opinion is that posting blog addresses in this thread is ok.
I also posted my blog address in the "websites" thread at some point, and if it is a problem with the TOS, I'll edit the post and take it out.
I think there are some terms in the membership here that don't allow us to post links to our own individual blog sites - unless the policy has changed..... just so you recent posters are aware. :)
I know that you can't have your website in your signature, but this thread is requesting this information.
However, in response to your post, now I'll write the following:
I have one, but I can't let anyone know where it is.
OR.....
I have one, look at my profile to find the link.
Also, for Bryan's benefit, I do have a link to Allnurses.com on my website.

Thanks. I looked at it again. blog request in a post seemed, as you say, in a grey area. Anyway, I took mine out and stick it in my profile where they have a url address as the other poster did. I am not going to waste time trying to figure out which way it is.
