The "Doctor's Book of Home Remedied" suggests half water and half hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. Spray on and let dry. Works for me.
That creates a basic environment. Standard conservative treatment is acidic (ie vinegar compresses for ringworm).
I digress, the pharmacist is trained to advise customers on OTC medications. The physician has already given recommendations. Is there a reason you trust the advise of anonymous strangers on an internet forum over that of this doctor?

I have a patient who has developed a small fungal infection between the those,the doctor gave me few names of ant-fungal meds that dont need prescription,I was wondering if anyone else knows any good ones? Thanks
