Does anyone know when acceptance letters are sent out for Sac City and ARC?

The deadline was last friday, but I'm not sure when Sac City and American River send out the letters. It seems like a lot of people have already received word about Spring 2010.

Did anyone apply to these programs? I applied to SCC LVN and ADN and ARC ADN. I would have liked to apply to Sierra College as well, but they're not accepting applications until next March. Good luck to everyone that applied!

Sorry Stinebean :crying2: I also applied to ARC and SCC and was rejected to both. I received my rejection letter yesterday from SCC and the one from ARC a couple of weeks ago. It is very difficult to get into those lottery programs since there are a CRAZY amount of applicants.

I did get into Sac State, which was my first choice, so I'm happy about that. It's nice that you can apply to Sac State next semester since they will once again be open to outside applicants. Best wishes and hang in there!

I just got my 5th SCC rejection letter too... have not recieved the LVN one yet. AR here I come! If feels as if it's taken forever to be accepted...

Dannibee, how has the program been for you? Do you work? I am hoping to keep my part time job at the hospital a couple of nights a week.

I still have not heard from SCC. I have recieved 6 rejection letters though in the past from SCC RN/LVN applications. That is lame that they sent you nothing!

The program is a good one. I'm really pleased with things overall. I also work weekends (F, Sa, Su) part-time as a unit secretary at a hospital.

Make sure that you apply to multiple schools...Getting in is a numbers game so fish in as many ponds as possible.....

For those interested in possibly commuting, Delta college in Stockton has a program with same pre-reqs but they are NOT a lottery. They evaluate based off merritt and a composite score. Maybe try applying there too... I am waiting to hear from them still for fall 2010. I have applied 2x's to Sierra and ARC and didn't get into either. Pretty sure I didn't get into Sierra either, but still waiting for my denial letter. Good luck everyone. Don't give up! We'll get in eventually...
