The deadline was last friday, but I'm not sure when Sac City and American River send out the letters. It seems like a lot of people have already received word about Spring 2010.
Did anyone apply to these programs? I applied to SCC LVN and ADN and ARC ADN. I would have liked to apply to Sierra College as well, but they're not accepting applications until next March. Good luck to everyone that applied!

What I heard was that notification letters should be out 8 weeks after the application deadline. I'm waiting to hear too. Good luck!

I received my denial letter from ARC ADN about 2 weeks ago, but I still have not received anything from Sac City. I am concerned and growing impatient. Please update if anyone knows about Sac City!
I got my letter telling me that I did not get into ARC last week, but haven't received anything from Sac City yet. The waiting is driving me crazy.
I am sorry to hear you did not get into ARC, I hear it takes several semesters to get in. Good luck with SSC! I want to know so I can study for the TEAS, if accepted we have to pass it by dec 2 or 4!

I got accepted to ARC 2 weeks ago . I have not heard anything from Sac City yet, but have a friend who was accepted into their program last week . After 5 semesters of applying I thought it would be ironic if I was accepted into both programs and got a chance to turn one of them down for a change. Good luck to you all... it WILL happen. :redpinkhe

Don't hold your breath for a letter from SCC. I applied for ARC and SCC in Spring 2008 (to start in Fall '08) and got an acceptance letter from ARC but NOTHING from SCC! They couldn't even send me a rejection letter. Apparently I wasn't the only one they did this to as my classmates complained about the same thing. I wasn't too fond of SCC anyway and ARC was my first choice all along. Hang in there and I hope you get in somewhere soon. It took me 4 tries to get into ARC so don't give up!
Dannibee, how has the program been for you? Do you work? I am hoping to keep my part time job at the hospital a couple of nights a week.
I still have not heard from SCC. I have recieved 6 rejection letters though in the past from SCC RN/LVN applications. That is lame that they sent you nothing!
I got my rejection letter from Sac City College today.
Oh no! I know how you feel and it sucks. Don't give up... you will get in eventually.

Apply to multiple schools. I had classmates who applied to 6 different nursing schools. (I applied to 4)
My initial plan was to apply to 5 schools last go round, but one changed their requirements, another cancelled their spring program indefinitely, another shut out external applicants due to the state budget crisis so I was left with only 2 to apply to and now I've been rejected by both. Now I'm just waiting for the next application period.
