Do you think that the job market for RN will be stronger in another 5 to 6 years?

Heh I'm hoping for 2-3 since I graduate in 2012.

Very hard to determine. Go to nursing school now if you really dream of being a nurse.....NOT for job security. Since there is none in this field.

I think so, even sooner is possible esp with a BSN. My floor has hired 7 new grads in the past 10 months and we have two travelers right now. We need nurses, we only have 30 beds but the kids are really sick. I think we are hiring more than other floors but the neurosurg floor hired 6 or 7 to start in just one orientation. The jobs are out there just not quite as many as before. I think its already turning around, good luck to everyone that is looking now.
