Do quick results ever come faster than 48 hours?

Nursing Students NCLEX Nursing Q/A

I took NCLEX this morning and this wait is killing me. I mentioned doing the PVT thing to my hubby and he said "don't you dare do that". I'm terrified the results will be false and I'll either be devastated or thrilled wrongly. I plan to do the quick results. But out of curiousity do the results ever come faster than the 48 hours?

So BON result is more accurate no matter how soon after taking the exam, is that right?

Do you mind me asking when you took the NCLEX? I'm in WI too and have heard that people get results anywhere from 8 hours to 3 days after taking it. The people who had results in 8 hours took it in late Sept, the others were in December or January.

I took it in Feb but people in cohorts ahead and behind me has similar results. I did test in the AM. A Friday test might make you wait longer.

Absolutely as the BoN is the entity that issues the license

I never did the PVT trick. And my quick results are not available yet. But I checked my state board of nursing this morning at 11:42, 25 hours and 15 minutes after I walked out of the NCLEX yesterday and there was my license! I PASSED!!!! I'm so excited.

PVT is 99% accurate.

Really? Where did you get this number from? Since it's essentially a side effect of a software registration, isn't measurable, isn't something that can be reliably documented and quantified/qualified....how was it you managed to do it?

even doing it before 24 hours?

As you've no doubt been reading, anything you deduce prior to both sets of scores being completed isn't worth bothering with. So, as has been posted many times before, NO you can't be certain of anything you discover prior to 24 hours. Most of the time it turns out to be the same before as after; that's not the same as "being accurate" before the grading is complete.

Yes. I took Mine on March 14, 2023 and I did the PVT 2 hours after and I've got a good pop up. The unofficial result says I passed. :)

So not sure if anyone can provide any feedback but my first two attempts I did the PVT trick (using wrong cvc) and got the bad pop up and failed. This time around I didn't realize it till it was too late but I was a little distracted while doing the PVT trick and didn't even get a chance to put any wrong info in and it accepted my payment. So to clarify, my very first attempt of doing the PVT for my 3rd NCLEX attempt, I put the correct info on accident (was distracted didn't realize) and it took my payment, thus I never received any pop ups. Could there still be any possibility I could have passed? I've been spiraling on forums looking for some answers. These next 48 hours are going to be brutal.
