You do not talk about your high school subjects. Are you getting straight A's? If not, then that tells you where your focus needs to be.

Cerda,

When I was in high school I became a volunteer in the hospital to expose myself to the medical field...this is where you should start.

At the age of 16, I suggest that you slow down and enjoy being a kid. Right now your goal should be to graduate from high school! Look into becoming a volunteer and see if nursing is REALLY what you want to do. This way you can see what a nurse does on a day to day basis.

Good luck to you and your future goal of becoming a nurse.

seriously- enjoy being your age- when you get my age you wonder where all the time went.

just concentrate on graduating with the highest grades you can in your current subjects- that is what colleges will look at is you GPA and sat scores.

if you have other concerns, you can pm me if you want.

Have you sat down and spoken to your parents and guidance counselor yet? This board is great, but I feel that is what you should be doing right now. Stop worrying about math for nursing, the TEAS, pre-reqs and all your other worries about nursing school. You need to focus on high school right now. I think right now you should really be addressing some of these concerns with your parents and your school guidance counselor.
