It definitely depends on the school. Most schools, even if they don't require them, always like to see ACT/SAT scores if you did test. If you're going for a BSN, it's more likely to be required than if you are going for a ADN or diploma. Even if it's been over 5 years, ACT should still have them on file and be able to send a copy to your prospective school.

I think it does depend on the school. I have an associates in business from a CC so I figured as a transfer student I wouldn't need ACT's but I was wrong! Now I have to go do some serious brushing up on my math to take the ACT in the spring.

I live in MD right now and you do need to take the ACT to apply ( I want to say with five years, but don't quote me!) but I have looked all over the requirements for the school I want to apply to in NO VA and it doesn't say anything about having to take it. Hopefully I am not wrong because I never took it after school, and sure hope I don't have to now!!

Depends on the school, but from what I can tell you from personal experience is, no.
Most universities require undergrads to submit ACT/SAT scores to get admitted. Nursing schools will not require you to submit these scores.
I'm a transfer from a CC to a BSN program, and I know I was not required to submit.

My CC requires it and that it be less than five years old. Definitely depends on the school.

I would ask at the school I was planning to attend. Mine did require it.
