Here are a few things said from some people that were in a nurse aide class with me. They are all going to nursing school. And they are all above the age of 30.
Can you hurt your bladder when having sex?
I saw a video that said if you drank too much water, you will get constipated, and if you drank too little water, you will have diarrhea.
If you pee after having sex it washes out the semen so you won't get pregnant.
:lol2:
It just makes me wonder......

Fortunately, there are these really cool things called prerequisites, nursing school and NCLEX that will weed out the train wrecks before hitting the hospital floor with real patients
Sadly, they have been through pre-reqs.
Two much more difficult hurdles to go! Prereqs are the calm before the storm. Prereqs weed out the really faint at heart.
Yep, I really don't think these people will make it. I mean, they had a hard time in this nurse aide class as it is. They complained about the daily homework and the tests. If they used common sense, which they obviously lack, then the tests are a piece of cake.
I almost wish I was going into the LPN program with these people because I would be laughing every day.

Wow..CNA class was pretty easy & the tests weren't hard at all. They must be super lazy. And that's just what the nursing field needs: more lazy nurses!
/sarc.
Yep, they are lazy. I mean, the teacher lectures everything thats on the test. They don't do their daily reading or their homework (its a 2 week mon-fri class), and then they complain when a test question is about something that was on the reading.
I have 3 days of clinicals with these people on Monday and I pray I am not stuck with one of the morons!!!!!

I wonder all the time. Students that bother me the most are the ones that leave class all the time, text all the time ( in class), use horrible language, and do not know what respect is. Some students act like kids. They never come prepared to class. It is just waste of money and space.
Wait til you get your first CNA job..they'll be there as well!

It will be quite entertaining seeing nursing school and the NCLEX weed out many of my classmates. Unfortunately, the pre-reqs didn't get rid of NEAR as many people as they should have.
Quite recently, someone in my class stated how inaccurate EPT pregnancy tests are because "I always used to use them. I'd pee on it right after sex and it would show up negative. I know those tests are inaccurate because I would be pregnant a few weeks later." :smackingf
On one hand, I don't want those people to "clutter" my clinical group. Then again, I would really like a front-row view to watch them. There are sure to be some doozies.
