Long story short I'm in the middle of a divorce and just received my court notice today, it happens to be on a lecture day in which I have exam 1 and lecture.
I immediately emailed my instructor to see if I can attend the evening class to take my exam, I much rather take the exam with everyone else than take a different exam in the testing center. I also don't want to miss a lecture or exam review.
My hope is that I can attend divorce court in the AM and take my exam that evening. I don't plan on rescheduling my divorce date as this has been a long and emotional process. I just want to get it over with.
I just hope I manage to do well with everything going on in my life right now.
Good luck on the exam. I'm glad you were able to move things around. You'll definitely be ready for that drink by 5pm. The day my divorce was final, I spent the rest of the day getting a pedicure, going shopping, and buying all new clothes. Probably not the most practical thing to do after getting a divorce, but it made me feel better after. Take care!
Update- Had my exam last friday and got an 88!!! After exam I went to court and got my divorce granted. Every thing worked out. Glory to God. I'm hoping that in 2.5 months I can come back and say I post" I passed RN school" he he. A girl can dream right?

What a momentous day for you! Glad your soon-to-be ex was cooperative. Hope the exam goes well.
