Just wondering if anyone else applied to this program. I went to UCLA for undergrad but I pretty much think I have no shot of getting into this grad program.
Does anyone know anything about how many people they admit? What they are looking for?
Well, you're famous to me :) Enjoy the fame. If we are in the same program, you have to promise to play piano and read a poem for the class (all while wearing a crown).
Haha ok I promise!.... Actually, that would mean showcasing all my talents in one session, if I do that I'll have nothing else to offer! Haha
I guess I'm silly for not putting them on my resumé.. But shelli said to keep everything focused on nursing, so I just put my volunteer work on.I did tell shelli about the other things I have done via email, but I didn't write it in my application.
I'm regretting it now.
I wouldn't worry about it. But I know how you feel. I regret not including certain things on my personal statement. I think I should have been more clear about what I want to bring to the nursing profession. I did touch on it in one paragraph, but feel that I should have been more specific in what I will bring. I also think the USD interviews made me think more deeply about why I want to be a nurse. I wish I would have presented myself differently, but there's nothing I can do now. I'm hoping my cultural and multilingual skills will cover what I didn't do in the essay. We shall see.

I guess when you have a lot of time to think and you read about what other people put in their application, you start doubting your own and wishing you had included other information.
I'm sure it'll all be ok.
