I work in Boston in an acute hospital setting and they pay scale ranges from $27- $67 based on years of nursing experience. I fall in the middle at $50. Would love to live somewhere warm. Any suggestions. Want to stay in an acute setting and work for the hospital not an outsource (Davilta / fres.

California paying similar amounts.. Good luck finding a place that doesn't outsource though!

Specializes in DIALYSIS RN.

CAL

chronic dialysis @ $30/hr + x1 1/2 after 8, double pay after 12.

acute dialysis starts @ $36/hr + x1 1/2 after 8, double pay after 12.

Specializes in ICU, previously Dialysis.

In Chicagoland, DaVita $27.50 acutes as new grad, $28 chronics with 3 mos chronic experience, and $30.50 with 4 mos acutes experience.

salary depends on which state you live in and which part of the state

Indiana pays $26/hr for RN w/ no experience.

Ladies, salaries are great, but, you also want to know the cost of living expenses. Boston is much more expensive than Indiana.

im a chronic dialysis nurse in WI with experience pays $30/hr.

Where in WI do you work? I'm a chronic dialysis nurse in WI making 24.03/hour just got the title of Clinical Coordinator which they stated was a lateral move, anemia manager, infection control manager, adaquacy manager, Back up FA, Head nurse, and have >2.5 years of Dialysis experience, a little over 5 years of nursing.

I guess it all depends on who the manager is. They say it's all about the budget, or could it be the company?
