I just got a job offer from a busy dept in a Baylor hospital in Dallas. $27.5/hour for my 4.5 yrs experience. I I feel it is a low pay. What you think? I don't live in Dallas. I need inputs from locals. Thank you

That would be fine then. When I first moved here I worked 8 to 5 in Arlington and that commute sucked!

Do you want a house or apartment or?

I would rather rent for now. I owned a home and i did not like the upkeep.

I am looking for a 2 bedroom apt willing to spend about $1100/month can you recommend an area.

I don't really care for Arlington myself, but I have not lived there, only worked there.

However, North Richland Hills would be faily close, and Fossil Creek near me is very nice.

Also, there are some really nice apartments in this area. Just google apartments close to zip code 76131 - the ones I am thinking of are right off I-35 and basswood.

I have to go, but also try googling north richland hills.

Locarius knows this area better than I do probably and can probably chime in about places in Arlington.

I would aim for somewhere that would keep me away from Rangers Ballpark and the new Cowboys Stadium. That's some traffic I would not want to get caught in!

There are actually some decent areas in Arlington and you could rent a nice home for the $1100.00 per month. You would have to stay away from the ballpark and new stadium & 6 flags-all off I-30.

Try craigslist to look around. As crunch said, North Richland Hills is nice. The main thing you are going to have to look out for is the potential traffic jams with getting into Arlington. I have not gone there since the new cowboy's stadium has been built; but, it poses a potential traffic nightmare because all the attractions plus football (and concerts there too) and baseball are in a very small radius with all the highways feeding into that area.

It would be best if you rent a car and drive around with GPS assistance. The only thing I could think of is to find a place in Arlington that would avoid major roads; or, some other area that would not need for you to use the highways.

I am actually interviewing for a new job tomorrow that would have me doing case management home health in the Arlington area and eastern FW area. If I get the job, I will learn for mysellf the nuances of the area and would be glad to share it with you.
