Hi Everyone!

Is there anyone who has been accepted for the the Fall 2016 cohort or heard back from admissions? Which campus? How did you hear if you got accepted? Deadline was January 15th, I know it's a little too soon to hear back but you never know! :)

AAAAAAAAH!!! it is just so great to see the back and forth on how we are reading into things waaay too much haha. I am so tired of waiting, but we must stay positive! I also applied to accelerated BSN programs, the only thing that makes me second guess it is the financial aspect of it since it would have to be all private loans!

Re loans for a second bachelors: I was seeing that a lot, so encourage you to look in to it further. (I'm in know way an expert on financial aid.) When I looked around, though, it sounds like there's a cap for undergrad loans (around 55k). If you've already borrowed that for your undergrad, you may be ineligible for certain loans, but don't assume there's no chance for getting help. If you didn't hit the limit, then there are definitely stafford loans available to you. I think there are also other types of government loans so at least you don't have to pay market rate.

This makes week 7 since the application deadline was January 15th. Let's hope that we will know soon. Who knows, maybe they will send out a wave of them today.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. They send the first round of decisions first week of February so I thought the second-round should go out first week of March....it only makes sense...;)

Hey Corey, I just talk to the graduate admissions department at Depaul to verify the status of my application and that one is 100% screwed up and the status is 'incomplete' as of today but what I found out is that they're not reviewing the applications for fall anymore so they're done with the reviewing process. You should be finding out soon.

VPET. I am sorry!! I can't believe it! But I am confused. Hopefully I will know soon! There is nothing on campus connect yet and I have not received an email.

Apparently all of the spots at the Lincoln Park location are filled but I don't know if they have notified everyone yet. I applied there and I haven't received a email or regular mail regarding the decision.

Hi there jroman1193. When I spoke to someone today in admissions, they are releasing decisions early next week. We should know definitely early next week.

Thank you Corey so much for that information. I've been checking my email like a crazy person! Did you also apply to the Lincoln Park Campus?
