I'm applying as as well. I applied for the July 2019 cohort, but was placed on the alternate list. Fingers crossed this time around works out!

In the email I got after I submitted my app, it said that they would be notifying applicants by email or letter by May 14th. My understanding is that if you don't get an email by then, you aren't accepted. But I think you can still be an alternate! Not 100% sure. But I'm dying waiting lol

Did you get to find out why they put you on the alternate list? If I don't get in this time around I will do the same thing but I am hoping I will be able to find out what the reason is.

I received really vague responses to alternate list questions. They don't rank alternates, so there is no way to know your "chances" of getting accepted. When I asked how to make my application better, I was given another vague response about making sure you meet all requirements and work on improving areas that are weak. However, from what I saw in the July cohort forum, it seemed like most of the alternates eventually got accepted.

I was accepted a few years ago but did not attend. I applied for October start but have also not heard anything yet. I'm hoping tomorrow.

Hi! I am also waiting to hear back regarding the October 2019 cohort. Has anyone received any updates in regards to their status? I know we are supposed to hear no later than tomorrow, but in the previous cohort feeds, it seemed like most people heard back before that cut off date.

I still haven’t heard anything either. From what I gathered from past cohort discussions is that if you got denied, you get a letter in the mail after the cut off. But it’s also odd how little activity this thread has gotten, no one has said they were excepted yet. Fingers still crossed I guess.
