Did you get to find out why they put you on the alternate list? If I don't get in this time around I will do the same thing but I am hoping I will be able to find out what the reason is.

In the email I got after I submitted my app, it said that they would be notifying applicants by email or letter by May 14th. My understanding is that if you don't get an email by then, you aren't accepted. But I think you can still be an alternate! Not 100% sure. But I'm dying waiting lol

For anyone who's been accepted/currently in the DCN, I'm looking for some advice about the personal statement! Would anyone be open to sending me theirs? I just want to read one good example... I want to make sure mine is good!
