   I've heard somewhere between 24.50 and 27.50 at the hospital starting out with nursing homes paying more like 30/hr.

   What is great about Denver College of Nursing is they do holistic admissions, meaning they aren't as strict about grades as other places. They look at work experience too. My GPA was 3.4 and I have 5 years a CNA. 1 at nursing home and 4 in hospital.
