Hi! I'm looking to see if anyone is applying to DCN for the July 2021 start!

I'm sorry to hear that, I know that can be super frustrating. I want to get in right away but also know it's pretty common to not get in first try. I've read a lot about students not getting in first application cycle but did the second time they applied! 
 

Would you mind sharing your work and/or volunteer history and GPA?

Hey! I don't mind sharing. I actually was already in the program and ended up getting dismissed. I got in on my first try and sadly I messed it up. Pathophysiology got the best of me and even tho I did well in my other 2 classes It wasn't enough I was a point off from passing health assignment. And I got dismissed right away. But for my GPA and work history I have a 3.4 GPA and I have been in health care for about 10 years. I have some volunteer experience but not much. After I got dismissed I went back to CCD and took Pathophysiology and Chemistry so if I do get in I will only have to take Health Assessment for the first semester which sounds great LOL. But I am hoping this time they will take me back.

No I haven't heard back yet. I'm waiting anxiously. Hopefully soon we hear something good luck.

All I've gotten so far is the email saying we will hear by February 12th. Two and a half weeks, we are almost there!

Hi guys! I also applied for the July 2021 start! I have applied before right when I got out of undergrad (I have my bachelor's in Health Science) but got denied so I got a job as a PCT at a plasmapheresis center so that hopefully will make me more competitive than before haha. 

I can't wait until Feb. 12!
