CSUSM ABSN Fall 2021
just wanted to add in and drop this super helpful resource I used to get all my prereqs done. you can search for ANY course at all of the California CC's and use dates for when they start/end. it even shows if there are available seats and whatnot. classes are still online due to covid so you can take them anywhere: just apply for the school and make sure to add the school to your FAFSA list to get funding. https://cvc.edu/ hope this helps goodluck errybody ?

Cuesta Community College Fall 2021
hey! I figured out what happened. unfortunately, the college board did not send my AP scores to cuesta which is a super bummer. backstory is that because I took the exams over 4 yrs ago, they are archived and non-viewable online so they provide a form you have to fill out, fax, and pay $25 and it takes about 3 weeks. I called them and they said they had never received my fax even though I have evidence I sent it. it wasn't cuesta's fault or my fault so lesson learned to follow up with college board faxes next time... fortunately, I applied to 6 other schools that send decisions back next month. anyways wishing you best of luck! hope you get in! ?

National University Cohort 67 San Diego
Hi! I am a student who tried doing this last application cycle. I just wanted to give you a heads up with my experience. Advisors told me it would not be a problem to end a class and apply right away. The class, BST 322, ended on Jan 31st and the app was due Feb 12th. I had SUCH a struggle accessing the application even with sending in all my transcripts, TEAS, attending a forum much earlier. It was super frustrating I was emailing or calling the school every single day up to the deadline to try to access the application and ended up missing the deadline. I hope this was an isolated incident and things go more smoothly for you but I just wanted to give my experience hoping this doesn't happen to anyone else- send in everything early and request the official evaluation ASAP! Anyway long rant over haha. I have applied to this cohort instead. Stats: GPA 4.0, TEAS 94%, no nursing experience but background in biological and oncology research with a BS in Biology from SDSU

Grossmont ADN RN 2021 requirements
Hi, I am also applying and as I understand the application requires this to be done prior to applying. I would still try though! Include a letter stating that you have begun the process and it will be done prior to beginning the program. Ask for understanding due to COVID's extenuating circumstances. It might not work, but worth a try ? And I would recommend trying to get in contact with your pediatric doctors office as you may have already gotten many of these. CVS is a place that has vaccines available but I do not know exact pricing. Hope this is a little helpful!

Cuesta Community College Fall 2021
Thanks for following up! I had a zoom meeting with the director to inquire about it; she was really kind and knowledgeable. She told me nursing admissions are looking over my appeal and will get back to me this week or next. I sent records off all of the transcripts and my unofficial ones as well so hopefully all goes well. Haven't heard back but will update when I do. I am honestly a bit discouraged with the process but using strategies to manage the anxiety hahah

Cuesta Community College Fall 2021
That is a lot; I think you should be very competitive! Did you apply elsewhere? Oh no something happened and they did not receive all of my official transcripts on time. I sent them all at least 2 weeks early electronically and have the receipts so I am sending in an appeal ? Hopefully it works

National University San Diego Cohort 66
No worries, I am glad we're sorting it out. I could see how that would be frustrating if you were trying to apply in November but could not re-apply until now. And yes I am applying to this cohort (deadline feb 12)! I wasn't aware that the November cohort didn't get to apply/get selected already. I looked at my notes from the pre-nursing forum and they did not specify which cohort # was being pushed to start July.

Thank you! I'm sorry I just realized I think I am on the wrong cohort # thread? Please correct me if I am. So I attended the mandatory zoom Jan 14th for the upcoming application date (Feb 12th app deadline) for the next open cohort (supposed to be July start). They said that they were having problems with the previous cohort (supposed to start April). I assumed because people were posting their stats so recently this was for the July 2021 start

CSUSM ABSN Fall 2021
Hi guys! I am also applying to Fall but I am having trouble deciphering the prereqs required: 1) in section A3 with critical thinking/reading, would this be likely satisfied with an english 200 class? what are you guys using to satisfy this one? 2) do all 3 Chemistry (gen chem, Ochem, and bchem) ALL count towards GPA? My stats: pre-req GPA 3.65?, last 60: 3.45, TEAS: 94%
