  1. Maddy- I literally came on here to see if you got in because I remembered you from the July application cycle. Keep on trying girl! You literally have strangers rooting you on! You can do this. Call them like someone suggested and manifest it! I would be down to help in any way as well. You got this!
  2. Thats awesome! Good job! I haven't done my drug test yet, I've kind of been dreading it since its down town LOL But I need to do it this week. Jeff said that it was the easiest place to do it because they had faster access to the results I think? So I will likely just go there. I just got done uploading everything in MCE and just have to finish the drug test and I am renewing my CPR super close to the cut off.
  3. Jenn how did you do on the HESI retake? How is everyone doing with getting their stuff into the my clinical portal thing?
  4. If you have an iphone I found the HESI A2 Nursing School Prep app to be helpful! You can create your own tests with individual subjects, amount of questions etc. You got this!
  5. I only talked to a person because it kicked me out and I had to call LOL Do you have to retake it all or just the Grammar portion? I haven't even gotten a bill or anything like that, I don't even know how much it is. LOL Im sure you will rock it! Sending good vibes!!
  6. The grammar is the hardest part for me! That was my lowest score. They didn't check my surroundings either which I felt was super weird! I wore my watch and kept checking the time. I was a little confused when my grammar malfunctioned because I asked if they could add on time and the proctor girl said they couldn't but asked how long I have to take it and I was like I think 4 hours? Do you know when you get to retake it?!
  7. I just took mine today! I'm not going to lie I was stressing hardcore! I of course had a technical malfunction on grammar. LOL But ended up doing really well! How did you do?!
  8. Do you have any insight on the schedule? My interview is in 2 weeks but my super planner brain is going crazy LOL
  9. The interview date isn't based off of your HESI score because I haven't taken the HESI yet. The HESI is to be scheduled in the last week of March for like the first week of April. I don't know when the last chance to have your interview is. But I do know that Jeff seems super nice and helpful and I'm sure could answer any of your questions.
  10. Thats so exciting! Thank you!! I can't wait to find out all the logistics because I am a definite planner. LOL I agree, hopefully we will meet first quarter and can maybe put together a study group!
  11. AKling how did it go? Did they talk about our schedule at all?!?
  12. Mine is on April 5th! I'd love to hear how yours goes!!
  13. I felt like the personal statement was SO hard for me because I've been in healthcare for 12 years, CNA for 2 and LPN for 10years. That was hard to fit into one page. I touched on my experience at one of my favorite jobs and what I did there that helped me grow as a person and nurse. I even included an example of when I questioned a Harvard trained Dr and how I had to reevaluate my approach. Have a lot of people proof read it! My two best friends were the ones who helped me edit! One is interviewing for med schools and one is a paralegal. My mom also helped and she's an RN but had previously worked in finance. I had already started thinking of how I was going to edit it if I didn't get accepted and asked an NP I work with and was going to reach out to a Dr I used to work with to help proof read it.
  14. I'm so sorry for everyone who didn't get in, keep on trying!! I got the acceptance email and am so excited! I wasn't expecting this today!
