Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I am on the alternate list for July so hoping things turn out well!

Quick question for those who got accepted though. By what date did or do you have to commit to the program? Also, do any of you know when the last chance is to have your interview? Is it based off your HESI exam score as to when you get your interview? They do not tell you specifics about the alternate list so I am trying to get an idea of when things might change.

I was told that I had a week from the date of my interview to decide if I was going to officially enroll. I don’t have any answers to your other questions I’m sorry!

The interview date isn't based off of your HESI score because I haven't taken the HESI yet. The HESI is to be scheduled in the last week of March for like the first week of April.

I don't know when the last chance to have your interview is. But I do know that Jeff seems super nice and helpful and I'm sure could answer any of your questions.

Hey guys! I have my interview on April 6th I'm interviewing with Kelly.

Your info for the interview will come in the email when you are accepted. the info for the HESI (if you haven't did it or signed up for it) is during your interview. After you take your HESI ($40) they will tell you to get your UA (about $80) done and whatever else you need to finish your file for like vaccines and stuff. And you will have to pay for your myclinical exchange (I think$40) to add what you need. And you will be asked what size scrubs you need. This info is based off of when I started back in 2019 so if the cost is different or time line is different I'm sorry.

@AKling Did they tell you when orientation is and if it is in person or not?

My interview is in 2 weeks but my super planner brain is going crazy LOL

So I found this online (http://mydsn.net/calendar.htm). I was told orientation is online (on June 24th) unfortunately but we will each get a 15 min window to come to campus and get things like our scrubs and other school supplies!

I just took mine today! I'm not going to lie I was stressing hardcore! I of course had a technical malfunction on grammar. LOL But ended up doing really well! How did you do?!

I did fine on the math reading and vocab but I was short for Grammer it really killed my score. I just needed one more question and I would have been fine. They do not round up scores either so that really sucks. The first time I took it I did so good on all of the subjects this time not so much. I have to retake the English part. But I know I will be fine. Did u take a clock in with you? Did they check your surroundings? They did not check anything but my ID.

The grammar is the hardest part for me! That was my lowest score. They didn't check my surroundings either which I felt was super weird!
I wore my watch and kept checking the time.

I was a little confused when my grammar malfunctioned because I asked if they could add on time and the proctor girl said they couldn't but asked how long I have to take it and I was like I think 4 hours?

Do you know when you get to retake it?!

Oh no I was really nervous that my computer was going to crash on me. I got pretty lucky with that. I did not talk to my person at all I don't even know if someone was on the other end LOL. I do get to retake it. I have to pay again when ever they send that and I retake it on the 28th. This time I will be wearing my watch. I'm a little disappointed that I have to retake it. But I'm confident I will do way better.

I only talked to a person because it kicked me out and I had to call LOL
Do you have to retake it all or just the Grammar portion?

I haven't even gotten a bill or anything like that, I don't even know how much it is. LOL
