I graduated BSN in the Philippines 2007 After taking the exam 2x they re-evaluate my application and found out that i did not qualify to take the exam. I found out that my cases did not meet there requirements.

1st question: Do you think i can still be eligible to apply to another state like florida?

2nd question: Can i apply for LVN?

Please. Any advice????

Thanks.

hi. i have same prob. do mind contacting me at [email protected]

this is so devastating :(

guys... if u encountered the same thing about concurrency issue please add me on facebook [email protected]

Hi everyone. I too graduated from the philippines on april 2011. Started my nclex-rn application for CA in may. After months and months of answering their call for more requirements, i finally got the letter informing me that my application was denied. Same reason as everyone else.. MS & OB. I pretty much abandoned my quest to be a nurse in CA. I just dont see myself going back to school just to satisfy their new rules. So on march of this year, i started processing my cgfns CES application for hawaii.. Sent in my nclex-rn application to hawaii around that same time too.. Cgfns got done processing my papers earlier this month. And hawaii deemed my application to take the nclex APPROVED. I just registered with pearson vue last week and should be getting my ATT in a week or two.. I didnt have a problem applying to another state since i have lived in the US almost all my life and am already so used to moving around.. Unless theres something tying you down. I CA, i would definitely urge everyone to stop wasting your time with the CA BRN and apply to another state... Good luck everyone...

Hello!

May i ask if you have to take the test in hawaii as well? Or you can take it anywhere?

Test can be taken at any pearsonvue center that administers the exam, results will go to the BON you have gone with

Yes you can take exam in CA and results will go to the BON you applied to. Just be aware same issues will apply if you plan on endorsing to CA so pick a state you plan on living and working in

im planning to move in nevada. Im just going to endorse it over there. thats the closest i can think of from Ca :(

Then I would suggest better to apply direct to Nevada, requirements would I suspect be the same and a CES report will be required

hi guys! just want to ask if there's a tamaraw nurse here who was asked by the BRN to submit all the summary of clinical rotation schedule and as well as the cases? if there is, Did you guys ask the school so that you can have your rotation schedule or did they just provide you with the format and let you email it to them when you're finished?

Hey everybody. Long story short. Graduated back in '09 in the Philippines. Applied for NCLEX-RN in '10. Got my ATT last year. Took the NCLEX in Jan. and failed. Re-applied and NOW they are also requesting clinical rotation schedule, curriculum outline and academic calender. I finished all my RLE before graduation but from what I remember, I believe I will also have an issue with concurrency.

From the amount of searching I have done online, I have not found anyone who successfully fulfilled the requirements of the CABON. Has there been ANY instances to where foreign graduates have sent the required documents and were allowed to take the examination?

This is truly disheartening and I feel the frustration of everybody else in this thread. Hopefully we can get some solid information from a credible source as to how to go about this debacle.
