Hey Eileen :)
I just graduated from DCCC Chester Coounty program. I loved it. I don't know if I can answer any questions about main campus but I'd be happy to try. It's a tough program to get into....Congratulations to you

P.S. I'm a SAHM to a girl and 2 boys, 8, 6 and 4...It can be done with children :chuckle
Hey Chickey, thanks for answering me and congrats on graduating! I just got my bill in today too!! LOL I guess that means I didn't get the Pell grant. Off to PHEAA loans it is. I have 4 kids. All girls, ages 11, 8, 2 and 10 months. It should prove challenging but fun. I have Math for Nurses now, I have my first final Wednesday night!

DCCC nursing proigram is top notch. Board passing rate higher than all the BSN programin Delaware County above 90%. Working with many grads over the years all caring and astute with great critical thinking skills.
Good Luck!
PM me anytime as work nearby.

eileen,
pm me if you are interested in which books you'll need and which books are a waste of money. i bought several of the recommended books and used very few of them.
good luck to you...let me know if you have any questions :)

I am applying for DCCC for 2006! I just saw a list of the license exam passing rate on this board, and DCCC rated high! I hope I get accepted. (I live in Chadds Ford area.)
I have 3 kids (6,3,1), so daycare is a bit of issue for me, too. I'm just worried, because I've never put my kids in the daycare for full time. I know they will be well taken care of, so I SHOULD NOT worry :wink2:
Even though you are applying for the 2006 program, dont give up on the other programs out there. I have been trying to get in since 2004 and have yet to get into. You have to do a lot to get into the program. i applied for the evening program at harcum this past february and i got accepted. :roll . I completed one semester already. I will graduate dec 2006. So whatever you do, dont give up on the other programs. Widener has a good program and their evening program is only 3 years and thats for a BSN. Good luck in whatever you do.
You've been waiting since 2004 and no reply from DCCC?!!
I will keep looking. (Harcum has on-site daycare, I just found out!)
I appreciate your input.
