you have to chose between going with the hospital or with DCCC. You still go to school at DCCC and do the same exact things that they do, but for some reason they make you chose. So i don't know if i would have gotten into DCCC program. I am glad about the choice that i made no regrets i don't think that i could have waited another year if i didn't end up getting in. Also to answer your question I recieved a notice from Crozer in the same envelope as the letter telling me i got waitlisted. Then i had to go up to school at 5 in the morning :zzzzz just to get a spot. It's first come first serve. I live in delaware county so there were 32 spots and i know that chester county only added 6 extra seats. hope that helps some.
that does help, thank you! its nice to know there could be more options out there for me if I dont get in. It's just such a long process in applying. I started my application process and all that in Feb., and I won't find out if I am accepted until Christmas, and won't start until Fallof 07 if I get in! WOW> It's alot. I am gambeling and taking 3 courses even before I am accepted. I know it could be a waste of time and money if I don't get in but I am banking on the fact that I WILL and I will just have to pray my scores were good enough. Ugh. So stressful!

What classes are you taking now? I am finishing up my PSY (Lifespan and human development) and Pharmacology in Summer 1. Even if you do not get in (Which won't happen ), taking classes now makes it so much eaiser when you get into the program.

Well, I am taking Math for Nurses for Summer 1 and The PSY Lifespan for Summer 2 and I signed up for Anatomy for the fall! I plan to take Physiology in Spring of 07. Then I think the only class left is Abnormal Psyc. Fortunatly, I have a BS from Towson Univ. so alot of the classes (life Eng, soci, etc) were waived. My goal is to only have one class at a time so I can do really well!
How were these classes for you? Did you take Lifespan online or on TV, or at the campus? I'm so curious to see how it is
I went away from the area for a BSN program, but I took some pre-reqs at DCCC and it was sooo convenient. I took english, lifespan psy, general psy, history, and sociology. I took the telecourses and it worked out soooo well. I lived in Chester County, and it took me about 45 minutes to get to campus, but I only had to do it 2-3 times each semester for each class. It also helped me justify the purchase of a Tivo (which I cannot reccomend enough for those taking telecourses). I was supposed to start Brandywine in Fall 04 and they said the prereqs I was taking at DCCC were fine - they had a list of what qualified from DCCC.
Anyway I am kind of missing my home area, so I thought I would put my 2 cents in about my positive experience with DCCC.
Good luck to you all.

thanks everyone for the support, I feel much better! I really only want to go to Delco b/c of the location and price. Chester program is hard to get into b/c of the seat numbers so that is awesome that you did, Aradien! You must post here when you start your clinicals and let us know what they are like.
and to got4babygirls, the first time I took the NET I had 7 to go when they called time, I wanted to cry. THis time I worked much faster. It's hard! And reading is mystrong suit and I did much better on Math. THe Reading part is set up for you to fail, you know? I think everyone has trouble with the reading. Anyways, thank you ALL for your input I really appreciate it! I have a long way to go until I find out if I am accepted so we shall see. anyone else who has stories to share, please let me know! THanks!!!!!
