Its Math, Reading Comprehension, and the last part is to test your learning style, stressors in your life, etc. The math wasnt bad. i scored a 90+ on that one. The reading comprehension can be a bit tedious. You have to read this LONG paragraphs and then answer the questions. i dont think its hard. i just think that you dont get enough time to read and answer the questions. The test that i had just didnt make sense to me. I couldnt relate at all and it was boring. So when i was reading its was like "okay, sure, whatever." This is just a weakness that i have. i think you have to do some analogies too (relating to the reading). And you cant go back. You get a lot of time on the other sections but not on the reading. there is also a a part where they test how fast you read. I bought the NET practice book and i found some test to practice online. But when i took the test, everything was similar, except the reading part. i did well on the practice part for the reading but not on the real test. Hope this helps.
Thank you, urcina!
I found online practice exam for NET.
Hi there,
The reading part was long and I didn't finish it in time. Does that online practice exam really work?
Thank you, urcina!I found online practice exam for NET.
I am applying for DCCC for 2006! I just saw a list of the license exam passing rate on this board, and DCCC rated high! I hope I get accepted. (I live in Chadds Ford area.)I have 3 kids (6,3,1), so daycare is a bit of issue for me, too. I'm just worried, because I've never put my kids in the daycare for full time. I know they will be well taken care of, so I SHOULD NOT worry :wink2:
Good luck to you!! :) When do you find out?? My daycare situation worked out wonderfully!! My kids LOVE her!!!

Don't get discouraged! The first time I took the test, I didn't make the minimum requirements. The 2nd and 3rd I got the exact same score!! LOL Actually the 1st and 3rd test was exactly the same! Good luck! Keep us posted on how you do!! Eileen

I failed on Reading. My math was 98%,though.
My English is second language, so I have an excuse:)
But, now I have failed NET.... I think it's a waste of time to put effort on increasing the "speed" of reading for me. I think, with that time, I have something better to contribute to the society. Or, maybe I will just try other colleges. DCCC is toooo competitive.
I just got accepted into the night and weekend program at DCCC. :smiley_aa It was very hard I was wait listed but this year they started a new thing where hospitals are starting to sponsor more seats if you sign a contract that you will work for them for 2 years. I thought long and hard and eventually decided to go with the sponsoring from Crozer. Actually I think they were the only hospital doing it. Anyone heard of them doing this? I have yet to take anatomy and phyislogy (spelling?) I have to take it summer I and summer II anyone know of good tips to get by? I am really glad that i found this thread it seems like no one around me understands all of the stress :argue:

Congrants to you!! I have friends who took A&P in the summer. Basically, you live it 4 days/nights a week. It is tough, but you can do it!! I am at the end of my 2nd semester and this one was a killer! From what I am told, semester 2 is the toughest one. I can believe it! Get as many of your pre-reqs in before you start so you can concentrate on the nursing classes. I am taking Lifespan and Pharmacology this summer.
The instructors, well at least mine;), are great. Just don't be late and turn off your cellphone in class, they all HATE when someone's phone rings!!!
Good luck, PM me with any questions!

.....but each time i didnt have something they wanted. The last time i was 5 points from what i needed for the test. so i had to wait a whole year again. Then they told me that you only had three times to take the test and after that you couldnt apply to their program any more. Its their rules and i am fine with that but i dont think they looked at me as a person. My GPA was a 3.75. I had good references from all my teachers. i recieved nothing less than a B. But they didnt want to hear any of that. So while i was waiting for another chance, i started looking else where. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. if i had started this september. i wouldnt have been finished until 5/2008. I graduate just about 2 years earlier in this program.
