Hi all... Glad I found this site! I have a few questions about studying abroad in St Kitts at Internation University of Nursing (Robert Ross)
Can you get a job with this degree in canada? I live in toronto... It is an Associates degree from 1 yr in the carribean and 1 yr in the states. Has anyone done it?
Thanks
nsilgen and kellyannie - sorry if I goofed on any of those 2 names. If you have not received any information about what to bring or what to expect, feel free to leave your email address. I may be able to answer any questions if you have in regards with living, the lifestyle, food, etc etc etc - but do find housing ASAP due to the large amounts of students coming in Sept 2009 (as of what I've been told 30 students have booked their flights and min of 10-40 more are coming in). I advise photocopy all your information like immunization, results from your HIV 1/2 - xray.
I used to be an advocate of this school. Recently there has been many problems with how they are treating students. They have been very unjust. There has been several situations in which the students have not been grandfathered. Several students do not have current partner schools to travel to after graduation, and there is not structure seen within the school. The struggles are not worth the outcomes. The school does put students first, or work with them to find appropriate situations. Even if this is your last resort, It would be better to retake all your classes back home than to come here! DO NOT COME!!!!!!!!!!!

The statement above is not correct. As far as I know, Dr. *********, Vice President of IUON, has scheduled everyone for partner schools for the next two semesters. I do not know what this person is talking about. The school works closely with the students to best accomodate their request.
