You can get a cell phone within the first week your on campus. Either Morehead or Colorado State. I would suggest living in Frigate Bay. The Royal St. Kitts is where alot of students live. Theres transportation to and from campus, and its filled with students from several schools.

Most of the negative remarks are from a few disgruntled students. As far as New York, I think that Dr. Connelly, is doing a good job placing student at partner schools. As far as I know she has placed everyone for the next two semesters. On tuition, their rates are comparable to other private BSN programs in the United States.

This is not true. I would urge everyone to go on the IUON site and review the faculty and their credentials. Most of the faculty are from the United States. These statements are so rediculus, I cant even comment on them.

IUON
I am not aware of any student being paid to comment on this site. And as far as partner schools go, of my classmates, everyone has been placed for the next two semesters.

I have friends in California who are licensed and practing and very competent. For those that are interested, you could probably go on the IUON alumni page and speak direclty to alumni. Clearly this person has a bone to pick. Our pass rate on the NCLEX is over 90% which is higher than the national average. If we were so incompetant how could our alum achieve such a great result. As far as the faculty go, most have taught and practiced in the United States. In fact, the faculty are listed on the IUON website with their credentials.

degree from iuon?
The statement above is not correct. As far as I know, Dr. *********, Vice President of IUON, has scheduled everyone for partner schools for the next two semesters. I do not know what this person is talking about. The school works closely with the students to best accomodate their request.

This statement is not exactly true! IUON is always adding new schools (ie) Nippising and Kwatland, they do not change partner schools. There is very little turnover of faculty on campus, and most have been here a long time. Their is always going to be a minimal amount of turnover, and as long as the school recruits good quality faculty as replacements, who cares. Academic requirements and policies do change, but most relate to partner school requirements not IUON. I disagree that the administration doesnt listen to students. They do care and always are looking for ways to improve the program. If the school was so bad, why have they such great affiliations and high pass rates on the NCLEX. I like it here and am greatful for an opportunity to obtain a nursing degree. There is always going to be unhappy students for what ever reasons, but dont let the few affect your decision to attend.

Clearly this person doesn't know what he is talking about. IUON was established to be a premeir nursing school. They have affiliations with major nursing schools in the United States where students complete their education and receive a US degree. My guess is that this is a student had academic difficulties and is angry, or possibly a competing nursing school. And was this student priviy to the sale of their other school to know the terms and conditions of the sale? I think not! And for ruined lives, I understand that our current pass rate on NCLEX is over 90%, higher than the national average. Are their lives ruined?!

I would suggest that this person has their own agenda. I would urge interested students to contact the sga at IUON if their interested in the program. Their email address is [email protected]

Clearly their are a few disgruntled students out their. The faculty at IUON are all appropriately credentialed and most have teaching experience in the United States. If you go to their website, you will have a complete listing of the faculty and their credentials. Their has been very little faculty turnover. As far as a Dean goes, whats most important is that they are experienced and appropriately credentialed. All of the Deans at IUON had been previous Deans at either a US or Canadian nursing school.
