We all have to pray and study hard. I hopefully will take the test at the end of December. I don't have a date yet. I am studying from Saunders and my final week I will do the Kaplan qbank 1-7. I have been doing Saunders for about 4 wks and I try to do 100 questions a day, but it depends on the day. I do questions everyday but not 100 all the time. I will be praying for all who will be sitting for the exam.

December Is Fast Approaching... People Maybe Thinking About Their Preapartions For Christmas... But To All December Test Takers Here... Nclex Is Our Main Focus... And I'm Hoping & Praying For A Great Christmas Gift For All Of Us... To Pass The Nclex!!! I Know We Can All Do This!!! Goodluck Everyone & Study Hard!!! I am using saunders and priority/delegation book.

I HATE the saunders book, I liked it during school, when we took specific content tests.... but for the nclex, I feel that it is too much info.

For content if you are buying a book from the store, I like the "HESI review for NCLEX" it's very simple and divided into sections....medsurg, peds, psych, ob, and geriatric. And along with each section are the meds commonly tested for each disease.

I bought the kaplan whole package, so I used the book that came with the course, as well as listened to the FEUER cd's.

but felt that kaplan was the best to study for the nclex-rn

I'm taking the exam on the 7th.. 9AM in the morning...
doing Suzanne's Plan.. i kinda like it, systematic in a way..:) we'll see how we do in the exam...

after much thinking i rescheduled my test for dec 28th. guys i am not going to change anymore and yes this would be it. i thought christmas will take up some time so i better mend it :)

to everyone ....... if you have special notes, mnemonics, websites you want to share please do it so ........so all can share. sharing is caring and caring is nursing HAHA....

i am just focussing on saunders only afer reading all the validations from previous test takers. we can do it. keep us posted.

ALL THE BEST FOR ALL TEST TAKERS IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER!!

So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.
After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.
So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.
For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

You are not the only one. I am also in the same boat. My test is exactly two weeks from today. I am practicing a minimum of 250 qts starting today.

Hey everyone! I am testing 12-11. Been studying Saunders Q&A and Comprehensive reviews with discs, as well as Kaplan's med cards for a few months now. Right now I am averaging about 100-200 questions per night, getting about 80% right. I am excited, but very nervous!

hello everyone! i have been browsing this thread everyday. i will be taking my exam on the 4th of december. i guess i'm the first one from the december group. i have been studying for the past 2 1/2 months and this will be my first try. i am using saunders comprehensive book, kaplan qt, nclex 3000 and lippincott 8th ed. i hope i could pass the nclex. please include me in your prayers. i will also include all december takers in my prayers..
