December Test Takers Support Group

Nursing Students NCLEX

So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.

After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.

So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.

For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US. :welcome: TO THE SUPPORT GROUP .

Hey guys..It's nice to know that there are many December takers here..I'm one too..I will be taking my first NCLEX_RN exam on the 21st..I'm really scared right now because I don't know what to expect..I'm recently answering cd question trainers of Kaplan but I'm planning to answer different kinds of cd questions just to master answering techniques..I'm doing 2 sets of 150 questions per day i think or three if my head can still take it :uhoh3:..I'm targetting to answer questions for 6 hours straight just to increase my stamina in case i got to answer until question # 265..I really am very nervous..My Kaplan scores in cd is like 60-70 percent only..This cd is really difficult compare to others i've answered..In Lippincott my range of scores is 68-75..

Can I still pass the exam with these scores in my cd training?..Hope I will..Because I've read in the forum that you have to get to like at least 95% to really pass. These really worries me a lot..:(

Well I hope we all pass..And I'm really praying for that..

Good Luck to all of us..and God Bless..

Love this site. Thanks a bunch!

Me, TOO!!! I just didn't want to jinx myself by revealing the date since I'm not even sure I'll be ready. But, I've been reading along finding the support and encouragement I need.

It's been 8 long years since I've tested! I have been studying since June but somedays it's hard to find that extra push. I study and study but feel like I'm getting nowhere. I read ALL of the Saunder's book and currently working on the CD. I just finished the 5 wk NCSBN course where I scored in the 60-70% range. Not too great, I guess. But, I haven't spent the last 6 months buried in the books to not go through with this!

If you repeated Are those your final % on retakes? I read somewhere on the threads of this board that they passed with scores in the 60%.

I'm cheering for you all the way!!!!!!

hi everyone, i will be taking mine in Dec. too. good luck to all december test takers. I will pray for all of you. let's pray for each other....we can do it!!!

Right now, I am practicing question and answers from Saunders. I have kind of high and low days. Some days I am really hyper and finish almost 100-200 questions and some days I really feel depressed that I was not able to pass and even I sit in front of computer to practice questions, I get stuck in the first one thinking if I will be able to do it again or not. Hope, I don't have ADHD, depression or other MH problems. Sometimes, I really wonder whats wrong with me.

For now, I have scheduled my test to take in Dec 14th...... I will definitely update you guys in details after I give my test. Lots of luck to everyone.
