I was going to take Nutrition 1322 through DCCCD online. I registered, but when I looked at the syllabus on e-campus I dropped it. It looked very interesting, but I just could not afford to buy the text, the videos, the video companion guide and the software! I could get the text on half.com, but the rest of the stuff I would have to buy through the school. Oh well. I'll just stick with my Chem class and my Pharmacology refresher class.

We are going to the storage shed on Sat. I will check on that Music book and CD for you.

Thanks, Mike & sunnyjohn. ...To tell you both the truth, I'm more worried about this chem class than I was my 8-wk MicroSUX! class!

I hated chem in high school, and that was my jr. year in '89-'90!

Anyway, on the bright side, I'm excited about the class too. It's going to be a challenge, and that makes it exciting. (Well, before the class starts, and hopefully after it's over, it will be exciting!) :roll In between, I'll be on here pleading for sanity!!! lol

Sunnyjohn, I thought about taking nutrition as well, but I going to wait to take it online at some point. ....hmmmm...wonder if I can handle nutrition class while in nursing school? lol probably not! hahahahaha

I made a page for my RN-BSN...it looks pretty neat to actally see the classes I've taken all together. lol I need to look into other RN-BSN programs. I'd rather take all of the classes online b/c I'll be working then. lol ) After this semester is over, I'll only have 4 lower level courses left. (Unless I decide to do a winter-mester while waiting to start the RN program at NLC!!!!!!!!!! (hope, pray, plead, beg!) lol

Funnie, that is the book I used in that music class. My fiance sells my school books online and then puts the money in a book fund I can use for futrue purchases.

Are you taking it music with Allen?

The Nutrition class looked so interesting, but the books and software were too much. I may still take it if I can squeeze out a few more $ out of the book fund.

Depending on what kind of deal you give me... If you can get a great a bunch of $$$$ on Ebay, go ahead. I can always get the scholarship to pay for the books... :)

The instructor's name is Austin.

Anyway, as for winter-mester..I'm sure I'll be taking a break....just wishful thinking about getting all the lower level courses for the BSN completed by the time I get my ADN. lol

As for the webpage....I write my own HTML. I got a book from the library about 8 years ago, and learned HTML. I've been making sites as a hobby ever since.

I made my high school's alumni website, but recently sold it to another alumnus. :)

NOrthlake. I HATE downtown traffic, it scares me :lol: So, I think I'd rather drive an hour to Northlake than to put up with downtown traffic.

I'm hoping for Northlake too. I did my time downtown at El Centro when I got my CST. I mostly took the train because I am way to cheap to pay for parking. It would burn me every time I had to fork over $4 - $7 .
