Hey everyone!
I have 4 days left till I take the "Little big monster"...and I don't know how to wrap it all up. I'm currently still studying What did you do during your own final days/hours? What lab values are most important to memorize at this point?
I used to be nervous and a big mess for a while, but after constant prayers and having faith that come Monday..I will be an RN..I have come to make peace with myself. Like I have tried my humanly best to study, now it's time for the Good Lord to show his self and his mighty powers :bowingpur
So who is yet to take the NCLEX? Are you testing next week? How are you spending your final days? Pls s:nurse:hare your story to inspire and motivate others
Thanks, guys!!
I'm gonna continue praying like seriously! and reviewing some lab values because as of now I can't study anymore..I feel like I'm done. My head feels so full, and the sight of a book makes me wanna puke or just sleep!
Today, I studied a little bit. And right now, I'm watching Family Guy! Tomorrow, I continue reviewing my flash cards, AN study guide and more questions till Sunday afternoon :)
You've done the work. What I did: made a list of a FEW subjects I was shaky on and looked them up. For example I felt like I really needed to review endocrine before the test so a few days before I cracked open one of my old textbooks and skimmed through--got the quick and dirty! Then the day before the test I took the day off and watched movies, hung out with friends, went to dinner, and called it an early night. The day of the test I brought my notebook to the testing site and reviewed my medication notes and lab values in the parking lot. I passed in 75 questions. Such a relief.
But as others have said you know yourself the best. Do what makes YOU feel comfortable and what has worked all along.
Edit: forgot to say good luck!!!
I'm not studying the night before the test. Kudos to people who can, but I know myself and I will try to "leave no stone unturned" with the mentality that it is my last chance and sabotage myself by staying up late to study everything. For me it's about going in with a good attitude and relaxed composure so I am doing dinner and movie the night before and then listening to a mellow playlist I made on the drive in.
Good luck!
leanjess you are on the right track. Here are my suggestions, just relax, go pamper yourself, have faith in God, read and meditate Mark 11:22-24. Night before the exam make sure to eat nutritious dinner and sleep early, if you can not make yourself sleep, just lay in bed, close your eyes and claim God's promises from these verses. Day of exam, commit that day to God in prayer, eat well balance breakfast...believing is receiving...have faith.
Go to church on Sunday. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you" Ask and you shall receive.
