Well, I don't get sick anymore!

I would never put up with any of the things you do! The first time anyone called me stupid, I'd have been gone. That's abuse. We are not stupid, and people, including doctors (who are not any better than us or anyone else) need to be treat people with respect and be pleasant or they should stay home. Nope. I would not put up with any of that! It's not normal, I've never run across anything like this!

I have bee advice nurse for over a year and I really like it. I work for a small company and I work at home. I find it very rewarding as well.

NO! I work Home Health. I am a brand new RN, I took my boards TODAY. Gosh, I hope I passed! I live in Seattle and I know that cost of living is less than down where you are, I used to live down there. As an LPN, I made $30.00 per visit doing home health and they pay 48 cents PER MILE. That was per diem. As a staff person, I'm not sure what an RN makes.

I took NCLEX today. My advice would be to just relax! You can't study for the things they are going to ask you on this test! You know the stuff...just relax. I'd study labs and know those. Other than that...you'll be fine! I think. Gosh, I hope I passed!

Yep. That's where I'm at. Worked like a dog completing the Excelsior curriculum and now can't find anyone to take me. Well, I can find somebody to preceptor me but the WA BON won't approve it. I was thinking about going the route you mentioned before I read your post. Have you had any trouble at all getting a job with an 'endorsed' license? I don't really know what an endorsed license is...all I know is I worked hard for a license and I don't want to have problems now! Thank you for this post. It confirms what I already knew... And WA state BON needs to wise up. Do you know that EC was ranked among the top 10 nursing schools in the US????

So exciting! I'm testing at Meriter in Madison on 11/18. I really want to get on a cancellation list and go in September if I can. So nervous...so exciting! Did you do a workshop? I did Tina's in CA and am doing Sheri Taylor's online workshop now. Good luck to you!
