Davenport University Acceptance Letters for Fall 2008

I was just wondering how long it takes to get an acceptance/rejection letter from Davenport University, Warren Michigan campus. The deadline was May 16th. What should I expect?

A friend of mine got hers today!! So I guess they have been sent out. I guess they could still come throughout the week.......I am trying to stay positive, but it is very hard. I also just got turned down for 2 jobs that I interviewed for.......really not feeling the love!!:loveya: So I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Well Beezlee......anything?? I guess they are going out. I have a feeling that I didn't get in. I know someone who got theirs on friday and now 2 people today....I wouldn't think it would go past today for the letters. Hopefully I am wrong. I talked to my advisor and she said not to go by that. I am starting to get depressed:sniff: I am still holding on though!! I am happy for everyone that got in though, I know it is hard work!! CONGRATS to all of you so far!! That's 3 down and 57 to go!! lol

Do you really think any more acceptances are going to go out? I would think that they were all sent out at the same time. I know someone that got theirs friday and then 2 people today. I just hope mine is still in the mail.:redbeathe

I guess it's just you and me kid!! Did you get a letter thanking you for applying to the nursing program? I guess we will just keep waiting together. I feel ya with the rain cloud!!:anbd: I will be waiting too! I talked to a different advisor today and she said she was told they wouldn't be going out yet. I told her I knew of 3 people that got theirs since friday, so she was checking into it. She said denials won't go out til july/august! I guess I should stop digging and just wait, but the suspense is killing me!!

No I didn't get any kind of letter from Davenport yet. I know that their is all different stories of when and how the letters go out, I don't really pay any attention, it only matters when I get it! I know we will get it SOON, so all we can do is grit our teeth and wait, maybe we will be able to celebrate together??!!

You are very right about so many different stories going around. My good friends advisor says the exact opposite of what my advisor says and that makes me nervous. I have to send in 150.00 by July 8th to reserve my seat for the fall 08 program. The first all day orientation is August 12th in Warren and the packet provides all the immunizations that you have to have done by then, along with a clearance from your physician. It is pretty in depth. There is no way I am dropping it off at his office, he is going to fill it out with me, I don't need him messing anything up. I have a feeling the letters just started going out. I called my advisor and left a message that I recieved mine, because she told me they were coming certified mail in July!!!!!!! Farthest from what really happened. I read the letter a few times to make sure I didn't read it wrong. Andrea Hutson is in charge of admissions, so if you have any questions you may want to contact her. Just call the Dearborn campus and ask to be transfered to her extension.

I just talked to my friend and she got her acceptance letter today. I bet they will be trickling out this week.....

thats a lot of people that got them today. its making me think they all went out already!! I guess we will see.
