Okay, I will be stressed all week waiting. I will pray for both of us and it would be great to have someone to talk to and go to school with. I will let you know when I get it.

Still haven't heard anything yet!!! :banghead: How about you Beezlee? I am about to pull my hair out. I think it was easier when the wait was longer. Now that it is getting close, I can't think straight!! My mail comes before noon, and no letter today! Now I have to go the rest of the day and check again tomorrow!! This is torture!!:angryfire Let me know AS SOON as you hear!!

I talked to someone earlier today at Davenport. They said they started going out on the 10th! But my advisor told me that a set of denials goes out first, then acceptances, then another set of denials and then there are some who don't get a letter at all!! So hopefully we made it through the first round of denials!! :yeah: I guess I will just have to wait!! I even have my mailman on pins and needles!! :eek:

That's cool, maybe we will hear good news. I know I got my denial letter last year on June 29th. So hopefully this time it comes with good news before then. :eek:

Another depressing mail day:cry: I really need to do something to take my mind off of all this!! I can't help it! I am a stay at home mom right now and I just wait for the mail everyday!! I have been looking for a job, but can't find one to save my life! At least if I was working, I could be busy. The kids keep me busy, but I am still at home watching the mail! lol

Have you heard anything yet? Its thursday now. From what everyone tells me, denials come out at the end of this month. I am getting depressed now, cuz it's almost the end of the month and I haven't heard anything:bluecry1: I don't know anyone that has gotten anything though. So if you heard, let me know.

Hi, I am also waiting for letter. I talked to my advisor last week and she said they are starting to conduct a survey regarding a plan B if you are not accepted. I do have a plan B and relayed it to her. She said by no means does this indicate anything. I do have a 4.0, but scored a 78 on the HESI, go figure. She kept reiterating that my GPA is excellent and that the survey has nothing to do with being accepted or denied. I was thinking maybe it is part of the process, because I could tell she wasn't writing anything down. I asked her if I should register for these classes just in case and she said if I did, we can just cancel them later on. She told me letters are being sent out in July via certified mail. She also sd the HESI is only 20% of the overall acceptance decision. She broke it down to GPA being 50%, essay's and recommendation as 30% and HESI as 20%. That would be great if what she is saying is true. Just so many different stories going around. I always check if they have determined the times and days of the nursing classes in Warren, but not yet. However, I think it is Midland that is showing days and times and people already registered for clinicals. I guess unless the mail man knocks on the door with a green card for us to sign, no use in racing through each piece of mail. This is torture for us!!!

I don't get it. Did she call you? My advisor is terrible. I e-mailed him a week ago and just got an auto reply that he is out of the office. I had one person call me to set up a meeting with my advisor to schedule classes. I told her that I was waiting to see if I got in the program.....she seemed confused! I have no idea what is going on! Supposedly a friend of a friend got her acceptance letter this past friday! So your advisor told you letters weren't even going out until July? When I called up to Davenport, they told me that a round went out July 10th and that another round was going out last week...?? I think it is complete chaos! The other person I was talking to on this forum has not gotten back with me.....I am curious to what happened. So do you think denials and acceptences are via certified mail? Well let me know.....please don't leave me hangin'!! lol But if I have to wait until July, that sucks!! :no: I don't really have a plan B. I have taken all that I can. I can't afford to wait....loans, etc. I need to work. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

I have not heard anything yet either. I am getting worried, like I said last year I got my denial letter on June 29th!! I am freaking out!

have you talked to anyone? advisor or anything? I am getting worried too, supposedly someone got an acceptance last friday??? don't know if it is true. The person I heard it from is not the most reliable. I am waiting for my advisor to call me today. Hopefully I can get some answers. I am getting nervous too cuz everyone who got denied was at the end of the month and this would be the end of the month this week. It also seems that everyone gets something on a friday or saturday. PLEASE keep in touch no matter what!!
