I was just wondering how long it takes to get an acceptance/rejection letter from Davenport University, Warren Michigan campus. The deadline was May 16th. What should I expect?
I received it in June, can't remember when. We were told they are coming in June and I have to wait for one for the 2nd year which is sad. They will decide if anyone didn't meet their requirements I guess.
I will let you know when I get mine. I remembered getting a larger envelope and realizing I got in so that was nice.
I got mine at the end of June the 29th.
I am hopeful this time around, but I am still expecting a denial, (don't want to get my hopes up.) I am hoping it comes soon to put me out of my misery. lol.
I hope it is a big envelope, like I said I am off to a late start being 39 but, I too believe that God has a plan and if it is ment to be it will be. I just have to trust in him and know he will guide me where I am suppose to go and when.:heartbeat
I will pray for all of us, and let you know what happens and when.
I read blackboard for nursing students, it says we should hear by beginning of July. You mentioned June 29th, that is a good day, my youngest daughter's birthday. :-)
I know what you meant, I never tried to think positive, I think I kinda forgot about it and then was surprised when it came. Good Luck! Also, when someone does not get it, it would be great to know why. Oh well.
I chose this as my second career choice in life since I was not happy with my first and I did chicken out of nursing before so God believed in me so I knew I was meant to do this and have the confidence. It's not easy. Yes their is a plan for all of us, too bad sometimes we have to find out later in life. I wish I did this at 20. Going back to school with kids is not easy at all. It was so much easier before.
That is too funny because I expected my refund today but I received a letter saying I have a negative balance and then I did receive a one page paper that was my acceptance in the ADN program. It says forms are enclosed but none were. We paid our $150 at the beginning of May to continue so I'm sure now they are working on the PN applicants!
How the heck did you get a negative balance!! lol So you were accepted to go on for your RN?? That is awesome! So I guess PN should probably go out next week or so, huh? Hey and it was a small envelope??? lol What does ADN stand for again? I am getting even more nervous now, since you got yours. Thanks for keeping me posted!!
The funny thing is that I wasn't expecting a refund. I don't even know why I got it. It was only 35.50, but I didn't even register for spring/summer classes. I don't know where it came from. I took the summer off. My last class ended in April, so that's why i was confused when it came, cuz i am only expecting one thing from them and thats a letter.
I didn't. I called, they said they are going out next week!! I asked it there was a pattern, like denials first, then acceptances, she didn't know. So hopefully very soon!!! I am still praying for you. It would be nice to get in with someone. :loveya: I will be standing by the mailbox all week!!

JC nursing,
Did you get your letter in the beginning of June, middle or toward the end? My husband said I shouldn't want to know what kind of envelope it is. He says it ruins the surprise! :) I am going to be a nervous wreck until that thing gets here!!:redbeathe I know there aren't as many applicants this year as last year, even with the combined campuses, so that's a plus. I have a good feeling, but I am afraid to be too excited. I try to think positive and expect the worst!! lol I guess when it's my time, it's my time. I try to believe that God knows what he is doing and if this is the path I am supposed to take, then He will provide......:loveya:I am still praying for you too beezlee!!!
