Dates of Orientation for NHCC and IHCC programs?

So I'm awaiting responses from NHCC and IHCC on whether I've been accepted to their programs but I'm trying to make some vacation plans and I need to know some things and was wondering if anyone here knew.

I know classes start August 25th for both programs, but is there an orientation or any other meetings that students admitted to the program need to attend before Aug 25th? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know how fast people tend to move up the alternate list? I am wait listed for Anoka Ramsey and they told me there are 20 people on their alternate list. However, they told me that they couldn't tell me what number I am on the list! The lady said that I could get an acceptance letter all the way up until the day before the first day of classes!

That's exciting! I'm on the list too.. 20 is not bad at all. I think at least half will move up if not all considering there were 420 applicants. Now here's to more waiting.....

Ugh didn't get into NHCC with an 11.13. Now I'm waiting on IHCC but I'm not hopeful. I'm gonna try applying to all the school for the Spring semester. If that doesn't work out I might retake a class to up my GPA.

You're on the wait list though right?

Oh wow I just saw this now. Omg I wasn't on a waitlist! I missed getting in by 0.1 points?!

Hi! So does anyone know the situation with our clinicals (NHCC)? They are scheduled out for Thursday and Friday 7-3 but she said it doesn't start right away? Or did I misinterpret that? Also we will or will not have clinicals on both of those days?
