Mane with MetroState
I feel like it would be easier and less stressful to stay with the Metro State path. We are all guaranteed entrance into the BSN program so why stress and apply elsewhere? My brother and a few of my friends have all graduated from Metro with Bachelor degrees and they all loved it. Im not too worried about it. The thing Im worried about is trying to keep my student loans as low as possible through the next six semesters of nursing school

Mane with MetroState
Im attending Anoka in the Fall…they haven't really said anything to us about Metro's part of it. I received my acceptance letter to Metro and was a bit confused. WHen I met with a councilor at IHCC when I was applying, she told me that Metro's part was all online with the option of having in class time. I was planning on taking my NCLEX right away in December/January before BSN classes start. Does anyone else have more information on Metro???? and Who else is taking the NCLEX right away?????

Dates of Orientation for NHCC and IHCC programs?
Does anyone know how fast people tend to move up the alternate list? I am wait listed for Anoka Ramsey and they told me there are 20 people on their alternate list. However, they told me that they couldn't tell me what number I am on the list! The lady said that I could get an acceptance letter all the way up until the day before the first day of classes!

North Hennepin Community College program?
There are only 62 applications??? I am thinking people are going to be mailing and dropping off their applications some time this week since the deadline is only 2 days away! Im just curious who did you speak to at IHCC about the MANE program? Every time I call and ask they do not have any information for me. I just want to get a better idea as to where I stand! Thanks!

North Hennepin Community College program?
Im feeling super deflaited! I scored a 73.3% on my TEAS V and it was the last time I could take it. I am coming in with a 3.4 GPA so that brings my total points in at a 10.7! I've been hearing that you need at least an 11 to be considered "competitive". If I don't get in this coming application period I am going to have to retake some of the pre-reque classes in order to bring my application closer to 11 points. Im applying to 4 of the MANE programs with North Hennepin-Night program being my first choice since I have to work. I guess we will see!
